Whitewashed in Toronto

Nortel Networks is reducing its staffing by 1,300 this winter as they continue to struggle in a hypercompetitive telecom world.

Although they keep winning contracts, these must not be profitable as they posted a large loss as they've grown accustomed to doing. If this continues further it will also cause further shedding of jobs as this economic downturn has only just begun and would not look to be a bottom V-shaped recovery in a short timeframe. No USA election can change fundamental and universal economic bubble deflations.
