Highway to Nowhere: Kansas to Delay Highway Projects

Kansas has knocked some fiscal prudence into their minds by force and delays highway funding projects. This is another example of government budget cutbacks and decreased velocity of money in the system. Obviously some folks who were looking to collect overtime to make ends meet and get out to the stores to make a merry Christmas will have to re-think that plan in light of the project delays.

More government fiscal mismanagement spotlighted here. As revenues went up their expenditures went up. Pretty irresponsible, like any farmer could tell you, to not stash away cash in the good times to get you through the bad times.
